Orange and France Telecom

Orange history

Orange was founded in 1994 as a mobile communications brand in Great Britain.
The basis was formed by a completely new idea: The focus was not supposed to be placed on technology, but on the individual. Orange strives to make technology easily accessible and comprehensible to people.
The launch of Orange was a huge success. In 2000 France Telekom acquired Orange and further developed the success of Orange. Since 2006 Orange has been the only France Telekom Group group, and today embraces mobile communications, the internet and TV services as a worldwide brand.
