Corporate responsibility

Orange helps

"Orange helps" combines mobile communication with social reponsibility. Orange started "Orange helps" in march 2010 as initiative for social communications. Together with customers Orange supports people in Austria who are less fortunate.
The company transforms free minutes, which were not used with postpaid tariffs at the end of each month into donations for projects by Caritas, Verein Autonome Österreichische Frauenhäuser and Mosaik GmbH.

Orange mobile phone training courses

Since spring of 2006 Orange offers together with the VHS association mobile phone training courses, for customers of all Austrian providers.

The Orange courses are a service offered by the company in order to overcome reservations vis-à-vis mobile phones. What started as an Austrian novelty, has become an institution and been part of several Viennese VHS programs.
Each course consists of two parts. The aim of the mobile phone trainings courses is to explain the handset’s basic functions to the attendees.
The registration process takes place at each VHS. For further information on the VHS programs: www.vhs.at
