Peter Nebenfuehr succeeds Josef Mayer as Managing Director of YESSS!

Effective 3 November 2008 Peter Nebenfuehr (43) becomes the Managing Director of the successful Orange subsidiary YESSS! because Josef Mayer has decided to leave the group after 12 years. Nebenfuehr was amongst other things CCO at tele.ring and Managing Director in charge of marketing at T-Mobile.

The 100% Orange subsidiary YESSS! started its operation in spring 2005 and with its business model became the European pioneer in the telecommunications low cost segment. The operator, which today has 600,000 customers, does not only provide pre-paid solutions, but also post-paid telephony and mobile broadband. Since the YESSS! founding member and managing director Josef Mayer, who has held various management positions within Orange in Austria over the past 12 years, is opting for a professional transition, the electrical engineering graduate Nebenfuehr will succeed him on 03 November. Orange CEO Michael Krammer: „As man of the first hour, Josef Mayer, was not only authorised signatory and Head of the Legal and HR Deparment and substantially contributed to the success of ONE, but made the subsidiary YESSS! the leader in the low cost segment in Austria. With Peter Nebenfuehr an experienced mobile communications manager is now in charge of YESSS! The father of two kids has more than ten years of experience in the mobile communications industry: Nebenfuehr was managing director for marketing at T-Mobile Austria and CCO at tele.ring as well as Marketing Director with max.mobil over the past few years. In his last job he contributed to developing the business model of AQA health care and environmental products. „With Peter Nebenfuehr we managed to get a marketing and sales professional aboard, who will carry the success of YESSS! into the future“, says Michael Krammer.
