- Mobile private branch exchange system with optimized handling
- Six years of fixed line alternative for Orange: more than 3,000 company customers
- Business Service and Advice for more than 250,000 customers
Im April 2005 Orange was the pioneer in Austria (then still under the brand name ONE) to launch the mobile private branch exchange. With the mobile private branch exchange customers can be reached any time, any place on the fixed line number including extensions. The mobile private branch exchange provides companies with more than 20 employees with a centralized switchboard for all extensions and sites. For small businesses with up to 20 employees, the mobile fixed line is an affordable fixed line alternative.
Meanwhile more than 3,000 companies are already using the mobile and affordable fixed line alternative solutions provided by Orange. Among them well-known companies such as the daily newspaper Kleine Zeitung, the Printgruppe publications, i.e. district gazettes (Bezirksblatt, Bezirksrundschau) or soon also the Joanneum museum.
Orange CEO Michael Krammer: “With our fixed line alternative solutions, we offer the best of both worlds to our customers: The customer can still be reached on the familiar fixed line number. This conveys respectability and professionalism externally. Mobile fixed line and mobile private branch exchange systems provide companies with clear advantages: saving costs with regard to first investments as well as daily operating costs and more flexibility for employees who can be reached any time, any place.“
More precisely apart from saving landline costs (basic monthly fee, rental and maintenance costs etc.) with the Orange business solutions, the cost of forwarding calls from the fixed line to the mobile phone is also dispensed with. With the mobile private branch exchange employees call each other for free.
Mobile private branch exchange Next Generation: more mobility and better usability
The new mobile private branch exchange generation of Orange for business customers has been available since 14 February 2011. The direct reachability of employees on the mobile phone via the usual fixed line number leads to a more efficient performance and consequently more satisfied customers.
New are additional features which offer more flexibility and better usability for customers such as e.g. individual waiting loops which companies can tailor to their personal requirements. The interactive, voice-guided switchboard connecting callers by pressing a button directly to the desired department is particularly practical.
Ideal for stand-by duty are group calls: Orange customers may define a group of employees whose mobile phones ring one after the other when a call comes in.
The assistance feature ensures that a call to the managing director is forwarded to a person which may be selected. This person then decides which calls are put through and which are not.
Mobile private branch exchange - this is how easy it works
The switchboard is easy to operate and operates without any complicated technical features. By means of an optimized interface all calls can be coordinated even faster. Forwarding information by means of e-mails, text messages and messages to the voice mail box also works fast and easy. Everything the customer needs are a PC with broadband connection and an Orange mobile phone.
