Connect Austria under new management

TeleDanmark manager Bang-Jensen to replace Robert Kremlicka

On the heels of its decisions concerning location and network suppliers, Connect Austria, the third mobile radiotelephone service provider in Austria, announced a change in top management at a press conference held today (Tuesday). The previous CEO, Dr. Robert Kremlicka, will resign his post with Connect Austria effective October 15. He will be succeeded by TeleDanmark manager Jorgen Bang-Jensen. Jensen served for 3 1/2 years as CEO of TeleDanmark Mobil S.A., which now holds a 15 percent interest in Connect Austria. The 41-year-old manager is the father of three children.
At the hastily convened press conference, Walter Ressler, spokesman for the partners in Connect Austria, announced that Kremlicka had only been intended to serve as CEO of Connect Austria for a limited period of time. Kremlicka wants to devote more time to his family in future and is already engaged in negotiations with "interesting" companies.
