ONE 1069: Fixed line for all

- Affordable fixed-line solution also for non-mobile customers
- One out of 10 ONE customers makes use of 1069

ONE, Austria4s first operator offering mobile and fixed-line telephony from one provider, will make its fixed-line service available also to non-ONE customers and prepaid customers starting July 5. Any Austrian who has a telephone line can now make calls via ONE 1069 at clearly reduced prices: there is no activation fee, no monthly fee, and no minimum bill requirement. By now, 20,000 ONE customers are already making use of ONE 1069, which was launched at the end of March.
Starting July 5, ONE 1069 is the affordable alternative fixed-line solution for everybody: nation-wide calls with ONE 1069 for only ATS 1.- per minute round the clock. Moreover, ONE customers with a contract pay only ATS 2.- per minute for calls to ONE mobile phones. TAKE ONE customers and customers who do not have a ONE mobile phone, pay ATS 4.- for such calls. Calls to other mobile phones cost ATS 4.- for all users of 1069. All tariffs are valid nation-wide, round the clock, seven days a week. Of course, one can also surf the Internet with ONE 1069, for ATS 1.- per minute.
Although ONE 1069 has only been on the market since the end of March and so far only available to ONE customers with a contract, already 20,000 ONE customers are making use of it.
If a “fixed-line only customer” later decides to get a mobile phone, ONE is Austria’s first operator offering a convergent product. Says Lars P. Reichelt, Managing Director of ONE, “Why have two providers, if I can have ONE. This ONE solution is specially interesting for small and medium-sized enterprises, offering them a single fixed-line and mobile solution for the whole company.”

Easy on-line activation

The activation of ONE 1069 is done via the toll-free activation and service number 0800 1069 3000. To make use of ONE 1069, the customer dials the network code 1069, the area code, and the phone number. Of course, using ONE 1069 also reduces the costs of international calls.
