ONE Business on the Rise: with Konrad Mayr-Pernek

ONE business customers, customised solutions in the areas telephony, administration and mobile work are only some of the challenges Konrad Mayr-Pernek (36), Head of Marketing Business Customers at the third biggest communication company of Austria, is faced with. In order to make people’s lives easier, Mayr-Pernek and his team bank on a hundred percent customer orientation: with simple, customer friendly applications as well as optimum service and support.

Konrad Mayr-Pernek (36) has taken over the area Marketing Business Customers with six team members recently, and is thus responsible for marketing activities designed for business customers. More precisely, this area is concerned with designing and marketing tariffs, offers and promotions as well as marketing products and solutions.

Mayr-Pernek, who comes from Upper Austria originally, already worked for ONE from the end of 1997 until 2001 and has returned to his “roots” after twelve months’ absence. The communications professional has profound experience in the areas of brand design, communications and co-operation, and as Head of Marketing Communications he will be responsible for all advertising and sponsoring activities. Mayr-Pernek regards the area of service and solution as his biggest challenge: “We would like to offer a solution tailored to his needs, if possible, to every single ONE business customer. My mid-term objective consists in making the business section just as successful as the ONE private section.“

In order to also make ONE a top player in the business section, the experienced communications professional banks on two strong pillars: Service quality and smart solutions. Tailor-made offers and solutions for business customers ranging from freelancers to industry compounds reign supreme in his strategy. On the other hand, Mayr-Pernek and his team would like to further expand the ONE lead with the ONE Mobile Office.

ONE Business offers applications, other than voice telephony, clearly contributing to increasing efficiency. With the ONE Mobile Office customers may access customised solutions among a comprehensive portfolio depending on their individual requirements. With the current update of the ONE Mobile Office Easy, ONE offers an affordable mobile office solution for all companies which do not have their own IT infrastructure. ONE Mobile Office Access enables mobile access to the company network and ONE Mobile Office Exchange facilitate mobile access to outlook data via laptop, PDA and/ or mobile phone. With various package versions (ONE Mobile Office Easy/ Access/ Exchange/ Enterprise/ Lotus) this mobile solution addresses both beginners and heavy users. Mayr-Pernek: “The business customer and his requirements are always at the centre of all new ONE services. I know from my own experience as customer that the service idea is becoming more and more important and forms an essential differentiation criterion with regard to competitors“, says Mayr-Pernek.
