ONE is awarded quality certificate for customer-relevant core process

• ISO 9001:2000 certificate as reassurance that the billing process is correct and intelligible for third independent parties
• Reliable because of practiced quality and process management

At the end of October 2003 ONE received an award by the Austrian certification institute ÖQS: certification for the ONE billing process quality and process management according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. Certification of this cross-departmental core process corresponds to comprehensive quality management and guarantees customers that they receive their monthly service bill on time, in a correct and comprehensible form.

In the course of an external audit certification of an essential ONE customer process according to ISO standard 9001:2000 was requested at the end of October. Instead of a quality award for the entire company or individual departments, Austria’s third largest mobile telephony operator took the innovative step of having a complex and cross-departmental core process certified. The billing process is one of seven customer-relevant core process in which process and quality management play an important role in order to sustainably ensure customer satisfaction.

Systematic quality and process management as real practice of company value “reliable”

The ONE billing process constitutes a highly important area in which several departments and external partners cooperate to provide customers month after month on time with clear and comprehensible bills for the services provided.

The certification by the ÖQS-Zertifizierungs- und Begutachtungs GmbH has impressively emphasised that ONE is able to keep its promises vis-à-vis its customers in high quality, on a regular basis. With regard to the core process billing reliability means that the ONE service bill is issued on time, in a correct and comprehensible manner permitting customers to understand how the figures are arrived at. This has been confirmed by the ISO 9001:2000 certificate issued by independent quality specialists.
