ONE Management Board To Undergo Change

After more than three years, CFO Christian Schrötter will leave the Management Board of ONE GmbH, the third-largest mobile telephony operator in Austria, at the end of June. Over the past few years he has successfully contributed to consolidating ONE as a strong and powerful company after the start-up phase.

At the beginning of 2001, Christian Schrötter took over the position of Chief Financial Officer. Already in the same year he was able to establish a strong basis for the future of the company by successfully refinancing an amount of 690 million euros. During his time at ONE, Austria’s third largest mobile telephony company reached its first positive EBIT (earnings before income and taxes) in 2002 and a positive annual surplus in 2003.

As CFO, Christian Schrötter was significantly involved in the creation of ONE Bank GmbH, which will provide an important basis for mobile-payment solutions thus contributing to the further development of the company. He also took part in the foundation of Starmap Mobile Alliance, a partnership of 10 European mobile telephony companies.

As of September, Dr. Holger Püchert will fill the office of CFO of ONE GmbH. Dr. Püchert has many years of experience in the telecommunication industry and recently acted in the field of controlling and finance at E.ON AG in Düsseldorf.
