20.10.2004ONE Launches UMTS Data Card Tariffs
UMTS data packages of 500 MB and 1 GB
ONE Smart SIM now also with UMTS
New in the portfolio: Samsung Z105, Nokia 6630, Option Globetrotter Fusion
As of October 26, 2004, ONE offers two new UMTS data card tariffs, which include either 500 MB or 1 GB for UMTS, GPRS and WLAN use at a monthly package rate of 35.- or 55.-. In addition, ONE includes new UMTS end-user equipment into its portfolio and, as an Austrian first, offers its customers Smart USIM one phone number for up to five UMTS devices.
After the ONE UMTS launch in December 2003, ONE now initiates a more intensive UMTS phase. With the new UMTS data card Option Globetrotter Fusion, ONE customers are now offered mobile internet surfing at broadband speed. To keep costs in check, ONE offers two UMTS data card tariffs, which include data of either 500 MB or 1 GB. Mobile internet surfing, sending of e-mails and data at UMTS speed everywhere. Just put the UMTS data card into your laptop and get started and all that at a fixed monthly rate, Jψrgen Bang-Jensen, CEO of ONE, rejoices.
Mobile broad band with included data volume
According to their usage habits, UMTS users may choose between two data tariff packages. Mobile Broadband | Surfer includes 500 MB for web use via UMTS, GPRS and WLAN and is available at a monthly package price of 35.-. Each further MB for web use costs 25 cents. The data tariff package Mobile Broadband | XL costs 55.- per month and includes 1 GB (1024 MB) for web use via UMTS, GPRS and WLAN. Each further MB for web use costs 20 cents. The data card is available at the price of 39.- in connection with a 12-months contract and one of the two data tariff packages without any activation fee. The two packages can be combined with all the All in ONE tariffs.
A first at ONE: video telephony
As a ONE first, UMTS customers are also offered video telephony. Within Austria, the free minutes of the All in ONE tariffs can be used as well. As of the end of October, the UMTS handset portfolio will also include Nokia 6630 and ONEs first video telephony mobile phone, Samsung Z 105. The two UMTS devices allow the download of full-length pieces of music.

Smart USIM one phone number for up to five end-user devices
Just like its GSM predecessor Smart SIM, the UMTS variation offers a single ONE phone number for up to five UMTS devices. Whether car phone, company cell phone, laptop or PDA instead of changing SIM cards, ONE customers simply activate the UMTS item they want to use. ONE Smart USIM will be available to UMTS customers as of the beginning of November. They will then also be able to use services such as video telephony or the fast UMTS transmission rates. The change from Smart SIM to Smart USIM is free of charge. Customers pay a one-time activation fee of 15.- for each additional ONE Smart USIM card. Whereas the monthly fee of the first USIM card depends on the chosen tariff schedule, the basic fee for the second USIM card costs 5.-, and that for each additional USIM card 2.- (prices include VAT).
