Austrian mobile telephony customers love music. This is proven by access figures at www.ladezone.at , which has been providing ring tones, pictures & logos since the end of October 2004. The platform offers full musical pieces for download to ONE UMTS-enabled handsets for the first time in Austria. The wide range of offers and easy use are responsible for www.ladezone.at already registering about 200,000 downloads after only 4 months.

The idea to offer a platform for downloads for customers of all network operators has proven a real success. An increasing number of access figures since the launch of www.ladezone.at at the end of October shows that customers download their ring tones and logos without long waiting periods and subscriptions individually and in a user-friendly manner. In the first four months alone since its launch mobile telephony customers have carried out about 200,000 downloads of real tones, ring tones, background pictures, picture SMS, logos and greeting cards. To this thousands of downloads of full musical pieces to ONE UMTS-enabled handsets are added in this period. The tendency is rising.
ONE currently offers several thousand real tones and ring tones. The offer is expanded every week. Absolute top sellers are the charts. Full musical pieces for download also increase in popularity: The offer will double in the first quarter of 2005 still. Apart from already existing cooperations with Warner Music, monkey, EMI, BMG and Silvascreen, negotiations with Universal Mobile and EMI on ring tones and full musical pieces have already reached an advanced stage.

The musical focus of ONE will also be successfully continued in 2005 by cooperating with strong partners. Thus ONE presents the video highlight of the week at gotv and exclusively offers the ring tone of the week. Gotv friends can get the most popular new real tone on their handset every two weeks by sending with the content „gotv1“to 0900-699 699.
Apart from the continuous support of musicnet concerts, ONE will also cooperate with the RadioKulturhaus and media partner Ö1 in the course of the current >Live@RKH< events. Popular acts such as Saint Privat, Zeebee, Slow Club and Waldeck have tryst at the RadioKulturhaus on 17 March. In line with these listening events ONE offers the adequate ring tones and musical downloads. And just like over the last years, ONE will also support the FM4 Frequency Festival in 2005, which captured 40,000 visitors for Top Line Ups such as die Toten Hosen, Sportfreunde Stiller and many others last years over two days.

This is how easily downloads work:

ONE customers may download the offers via WAP, web or SMS. Mobile telephony customers of other Austrian operators order the desired content by sending SMS to 0900-699 699. In return they get their link. When the customer activates the link by clicking on it, the download commences and the desired content is transferred. Following successful delivery, the costs are charged via the service bill of the respective operator.
