ONE makes Roaming Tariffs easier

Consistent roaming tariffs for four geographic zones| Roaming Partner for frequent travellers| passive roaming, local calls, calls and text messages to Austria more affordable

On 5 July 2006 a new era of roaming commences at ONE. ONE is the first Austrian mobile telephony operator to comply with the call of the European Union for lowering roaming tariffs. For ONE customers who wish to make both active and passive calls abroad this means: more inexpensive tariffs for passive roaming, local calls in their destination country, calls and text messages to Austria as well as consistent fees in four destinations. To frequent travellers within the EU, ONE offers even more affordable roaming partner tariffs. You can register for the simple, new ONE roaming tariffs via the ONE Service Team.

“Currently roaming is a much discussed topic within the EU“, says ONE CCO Michael Fried. “Now ONE is the first operator to redesign its roaming offer to be even more consumer friendly and simpler.” The new tariffs effective from 5 July 2006 offer more transparent and consistently inexpensive tariffs for mobile calls from abroad. They are the same around the clock and apply to both ONE post-paid customers and pre-paid customers (with TAKE ONE Roaming Plus).

Four international zones
The new ONE roaming standard tariffs are divided into four international zones: EU, rest of Europe, USA/Canada and rest of the world. The simple tariffs apply to all networks in the destination country around the clock.

Passives roaming, local calls abroad, calls to Austria and text messages
Particular emphasis is placed on tariffs for local calls in the destination country, calls from abroad to Austria, passive roaming and text messages.
With the new ONE roaming standard tariffs ONE private customers pay only 49 cents per minute for all calls they receive in Europe (passive roaming). Active mobile calls within the EU destination country and calls from EU countries to Austria are all charged at 95 cents per minute. Thus ONE is highly competitive and inexpensive in comparison to the overall market.

Roaming Partner
For frequent travellers within EU countries,ONE has a special offer. Passive roaming, local calls within the EU destination country and calls and text messages to Austria with Roaming Partner cost a consistent 49 cents around the clock. For this particularly inexpensive tariff ONE charges a one-time activation fee of € 15 as well as a monthly fee of € 5. ONE Roaming Partner is valid within the EU with selected ONE roaming partners.

This is how easily it works:
The new ONE roaming tariffs are valid automatically as of 5 July 06 for all new customers as well as in case of change of ownership or tariff and are available for existing customers free of charge simply by placing a call to the ONE Service Team on (0699) 70 699.
As of the end of June 2006, ONE has roaming agreements with 311 partners in 144 countries.

Consistent MMS roaming fees worldwide
Apart from the new consistent voice roaming tariffs, ONE is the only operator in Austria to offer consistent MMS roaming fees worldwide. ONE post-paid customers pay 90 cents per MMS sent from each country from which MMS can be sent, pre-paid customers are charged € 1.10 only per multimedia message sent. The new ONE MMS roaming fees are consistent worldwide irrespective of volume stages, zones or GPRS airtime fees. ONE currently has more than 116 GPRS roaming partners in 56 countries.
