ONE and Wakeboard Ride the Same Wave

ONE Wakeboard Open presented by Nokia from July 29 to 31 in Feldkirchen an der Donau / ONE is main sponsor of largest wakeboard event in Europe

As main sponsor, ONE sets another trend among the top sports events of this summer with the ONE Wakeboard Open 2005 presented by Nokia, the largest European wakeboard event. Between July 29 and 31, 2005, the European cable wakeboard elite and, for the first time, the pros from the U.S.A. and Australia meet in Feldkirchen an der Donau, and once again ONE joins them on the board.

“This year, ONE supports wakeboard for the fourth time as main sponsor, since this trendy sport is becoming ever more popular and perfectly matches our hip target group,” Christian Riener, ONE Marketing Director, says about ONE’s engagement.

Also in this country, wakeboard is among the up-and-coming trendy sports. During the past few years it developed as an equivalent to the snowboard scene in the summer months and is increasingly popular, in particular with the younger target groups.

ONE`s wakeboard engagement comprises, in addition to the ONE Wakeboard Open 2005, the ONE Wakeboard Camps as well as all state championships, the national championships by lift and by boat and the Austrian squad team.
