Orange and VHS* offer mobile phone training courses for the 7th time

- Thirteen new mobile phone training courses made up of 26 units from 9 February | courses for customers of all providers | Now also included in the VHS Innsbruck programme

The mobile phone training courses Orange offers together with the VHS association already enter into their 7th term as of 6 February 2009. Apart from six VHS institutes in Vienna, the mobile phone training course for customers of all providers are now also being offered by a VHS institute in Innsbruck, Tyrol. In total 13 courses consisting of 26 units form part of the programme. The courses are a service offered by the company in order to overcome reservations vis-à-vis mobile phones.

What commenced in the spring of 2006 as an Austrian novelty, already enters its seventh term this year: mobile phone training courses, which Orange offers in VHS institutes as a service for customers of all mobile telephony providers. The courses consist of 2 units each and familiarises the attendees with the basic mobile phone features.
Until 25 June 2009 Orange will offer a total of thirteen courses with 26 dates in six VHS institutes in Vienna and one in Innsbruck. Two Orange trainers will be teaching four to eight delegates interesting facts ranging from entering a contact to sending a text message. While the VHS institutes in Floridsdorf, Liesing, Meidling, Penzing, Rudolfsheim-Fuenfhaus and Brigittenau have been teaching these courses for years, the cooperation with the VHS institute in Innsbruck 2009 takes place only for the second time. Orange CEO Michael Krammer: „We are pleased that after Vienna our courses are now also very well received in Innsbruck. In future, we also plan to offer our service also in other Austrian provinces.“

Registration takes place directly at the VHS institute and is possible until shortly before the course commences. Since many services related to the workshop are offered for free, VHS institutes only charge a contribution towards expenses.
