Gerrit Maßmann new Head of Orange Shops

Since April 1st 2009 Gerrit Maßmann (33) has been responsible for the company’s own distribution channel Orange Shops. With about 90 shops in all of Austria, Orange has the densest network of shops among all Austrian mobile communications providers.

Gerrit Maßmann has been working in the mobile telephony industry for more than eight years and has many years of leadership experience. He started his career with the German mobile telephony provider VIAG Interkom as shop assistant. In 2001 he took over the position of shop manager with O2 for the shop in Münster, where he subsequently was in charge for the region of Northern Germany. Since 2004 he worked as Marketing Area Manager for O2 first for Northern and Western Germany, then for Southern Germany. At the end of 2007 he joined E-Plus, where he was responsible for all shops in Southern Germany.

Maßmann, who comes from Germany originally, is a business administration graduate and dedicated sportsman.
