Orange: Peter Nebenführ new Chief Marketing Officer

Orange extends its management team and appoints Peter Nebenführ (44) Chief Marketing Officer responsible for the areas marketing and marketing communications. The mobile communications manager continues to be managing director of the 100% Orange subsidiary YESSS!.

Peter Nebenführ, who has been managing director of the most successful mobile telephony low-cost provider YESSS! since November 2008, joined the to date four-person Orange Management Board on 1 June 2009.

“The strategic orientation and international cooperation of the Orange Group, particularly in the areas marketing and sales, demand a stronger focus within the Orange Management Board“, Orange CEO Michael Krammer explains the decision. “Peter Nebenführ is an experienced marketeer and has known the Austrian mobile communications market for years.“

As Chief Marketing Officer Nebenführ is responsible for the areas marketing (product marketing, pricing & offer design, web) and marketing communications (advertising, sponsoring, events). The father of two children has more than ten years experience in the mobile telephony industry: Prior to joining YESSS!, Nebenführ held among other positions that of managing director for marketing, sales and customer service with tele.ring.
