Orange banks on „fifty-fifty“

- New tariff plan promotion starts on 27 October
- Half the basic monthly fee or half the term of contract

Starting 27 October new Orange customers have the choice. Effective 27 October the motto at Orange is “fifty-fifty“. “New customers can now choose between half the basic monthly fee or half the term of contract“, explains Orange CMO Peter Nebenführ. “Customer loyalty now absolutely pays off at Orange.“ The longer a new customer commits to Orange and one of its six tariff plans or the mobile Internet 15 GB tariff scheme, the more affordable the basic monthly fee gets.

The new Orange offer currently comprises six tariff plans and one tariff scheme for the mobile Internet: New customers commit for a period of 12, 24 or 36 months and pay a correspondingly reduced basic monthly fee based on customer loyalty.
The tariff plans available are Team 25 and Team Europe 30, 35 and 39 as well as the two tariff plans for young people under the age of 27: Team Young and Team Europe Young.
New customers, who, for instance, opt for the tariff plan Team Europe 35 have several possibilities: a 12-month term of contract for 35 euros per month, a 24-month of contract for 26.25 euros (-25%) per month or 36-month of contract for only 17.50 euros/month (-50%).
For the tariff scheme mobile Internet 15 GB new customers pay either 20, 15 or 10 euros per month based on customer loyalty.
The new offers are available as of 27 October until the end of the year in all Orange and retail shops and as of 25 October 2009 at the Orange web shop.

In combination with the new tariff plan promotion, Orange offers the up-to-date Samsung Corby starting from 1 euro. The colourful touchscreen mobile phone perfectly links with Facebook®, MySpace®, Flickr® and YouTube® applications, and with its 2 megapixel camera and an integrated MP3 player forms part of the premium entertainment mobile phone segment.
